In her role as the team leader of the personal lines account managers, Yolanda Barron puts her extraordinary customer service skills to use to ensure our clients’ needs are met. Yolanda initially joined the Sanford & Tatum team as our Director of First Impressions and has been promoted several times since joining the company, gaining experience in processing and account management. Before joining our agency, Yolanda worked as a trainer for a call center, where she frequently told her trainees to “make sure the customer can see your smile over the phone.” Yolanda is always smiling, and it comes through even when you can’t see her face.
One of the most impressive things about Yolanda is her ability to defuse a tense situation. How does she do it? Simple, “empathy,” she says. Yolanda is an expert at putting herself in another person’s shoes, which gives her a better understanding of how to solve any problem a customer might face.
Yolanda truly embodies the Sanford & Tatum culture, from using empathy to solve customer problems to learning and sharing her new knowledge. She delights in passing what she learns onto clients and helping them better understand their benefits and coverage.
