What is your role at Sanford & Tatum?

Commercial Lines Account Manager. I assist the Sales Advisors with obtaining quotes for the clients including best pricing and coverages for their area of business. I make sure the insured has all of their certificates issued for their contracts, proof of insurance for their vehicles and answer any questions they may have when the advisors are not available.

What is your background?

I began my insurance career at the Snyder office in 1999. I have been with the Lubbock location since 2004. I am currently working on my CIC designation.

What is your favorite thing about working at Sanford & Tatum?

The way we treat each other like family and a team. When we need help, we are all here to help each other. Whether it be personal or with our workload. It is my joy in life to help anyone where I can which is why I’m in insurance.

Which of our core values is your favorite and why? 

Honest – we must be truthful with our coworkers as well as our clients. That our clients can trust we are here to truly keep their interests at the top of our list.

Where is your favorite place to travel and why?

Honestly, I don’t really travel a lot. But, I prefer a quiet lake cabin. The atmosphere and maybe catching a big fish.

In your spare time, what activities do you enjoy? What are some of your favorite things?

I love getting to spend time with my new husband as well as my family. My new granddaughter is now 6 months old. She is pretty much my favorite things, especially when she smiles or giggles. I like to go farmers markets or antique stores. I like to craft so this allows me to find things to redo or make into something new. I like to work with our non-profits and my church.
