What is your role at Sanford & Tatum?
Group Life & Health Department Supervisor
Account Executive
(and Over Communicator)
What is your background?
I was in the administrative side of the medical field for 20 years in many different capacities. I have now been with the agency since 2017.
What is your favorite thing about working at Sanford & Tatum?
The environment at Sanford and Tatum is so very supportive and inclusive. When I started at Sanford & Tatum, I was told that it is a family but until you have watched us come together to support each other through loss of a family member, a catastrophic diagnosis or a global pandemic you don’t understand the full meaning of that statement. I believe that the environment that exists inhouse at Sanford and Tatum is extended to our clients as well.
Which of our core values is your favorite and why?
The core value that resonates with me the most is Solution Oriented. I believe that some individuals are just natural fixers, meaning that when they are presented with a problem they begin to work out a solution without delay. I am that type of individual. Assisting our client in problem solving for their coverage needs as well as other areas of their processes builds true and long-lasting relationships.
Where is your favorite place to travel and why?
I love to be on the beach (or at home). A good get away is great but something is to be said for being at peace on the couch with a good book and a few dogs.
In your spare time, what activities do you enjoy? What are some of your favorite things?
My hobbies include home projects (my husband loves this hobby) and crafting. I have a small but very close family and we enjoy spending time together doing small projects. A few of my favorite things are coffee (but that is a necessity), highlighting the advantages of Apple and Chevy products and spending time with our Benefits Team!
