What is your background?

Prior to coming onboard with Sanford & Tatum, I was the owner of Roy Neal Insurance Agency for the last 7 years. Prior to that I have been a project manager, contracts manager, contracts analyst and other various roles. I have a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

What is your favorite thing about working at Sanford & Tatum?

I love the fact that titles aren’t really important here. If you need help with something or have a question there are always folks willing to assist. We really do become like a family.

Which of our core values is your favorite and why? 

Servant-Leadership. This is the motto of my life to be a servant leader. I try to exhibit this and model it to everyone around me. I also try to show my kids that it is okay to pick up the trash, sweep the floors, set out tables and chairs whatever is needed to help the mission of the organization.

Where is your favorite place to travel and why?

My wife and I took a trip to Santorini, Greece a few years back and loved it. All the people there were so welcoming and caring. The place we stayed at was a small “hotel” so we had very personal service. The scenery there is beautiful.

In your spare time, what activities do you enjoy?

I love to read, speak to groups, sing and learn new things. I own a guitar that has been sitting unplayed for too long.  I enjoy hunting and camping as well!
