What is your role at Sanford & Tatum?

I'm the Co-CEO at Sanford & Tatum where I do administrative work and handle long-time customers.

What is your background?

I began my career at the agency as a file clerk in 1978. After a few years, I was promoted to our Personal & Commercial lines position which allowed me to work with Douglas Sanford on a daily basis. In 1985, I received my second promotion where I became the Officer and Manager of Commercial Lines Operation. Through the management position, I was able to advance my industry knowledge and skills to later become an owner in 2002.

What is your favorite thing about working at Sanford & Tatum?

I enjoy meeting and working with all kinds of people. Everyone has a different backstory which makes each person unique and interesting, I'm always learning something new from others! I consider many of my customers to be my friends which truly makes work enjoyable. In addition to working with great people while working at Sanford & Tatum, I have been blessed to have the civic opportunity to serve and give back to my community.

Where is your favorite place to travel and why?

My favorite place to travel is Europe! There is so much history and amazing artwork that can be found throughout the structures.
